Sometimes we want to succeed (in a conventional way) because we want to buy freedom. If we are successful, then people will overlook or even embrace our weirdness (Perhaps, people leave Tim Burton alone because his movies make money). People are less mean to those who “have made it”. But is this really true? The truth is that people often judge celebrities/successful people harshly. They might not expect normal things from famous/successful people but they have expectations. In fact, a lot of people expect celebrities to be perfect. The perfection ideal haunts all of us…whether we are successful or not.
